What started out as a regular job assignment quickly escalated into something more for Oliver Philip when he met twin Shire horse shapeshifters, Bayard and Marshall Stoddard. The past few weeks have been filled with love and laughter, but stormclouds are gathering on the horizon. The three choose to take every opportunity to cement their growing bond, like an afternoon picnic that turns into a taste test of a different sort when Bay and Marsh show Oliver the delights of Horsfall Ranch.

Some days, Oliver Philip couldn’t believe his luck. “What do you mean, they cancelled?”
Rosemary sighed, the sound loud through his earpiece. “I’m sorry, boss, but they said they didn’t have enough documentation and didn’t want to waste your time.”
Shaking his head, Oliver stared out the front windshield of his car. He was currently pulled over to the side of the road, about ten kilometres outside of Buttfuck, Nowhere, and about three hours away from home. “Which is great, but they couldn’t have let me know before this morning? I would have been at their site in another half hour. Damn it!”
He slammed his palm against the steering wheel, instantly regretting the move when a shaft of pain went up his forearm. Great. Just great.
“Sorry, boss.”
“Yeah, I know. It’s fine. I just hate when they pull this crap on me.” He sighed. “Okay, well, looks like I’m turning around. I’m not going to bother coming into the office, Ro. See you tomorrow.”
“Say hi to your hunky man, boss.” Her warm chuckle came through loud and clear.
Hoping he wasn’t blushing, although she couldn’t see him anyway, Oliver quickly said goodbye, ignoring her laughter as he disconnected.
He hadn’t entirely been honest with his employees about his love life. No wonder, considering he couldn’t believe it himself. They all thought he’d been involved the past few months with a completely gorgeous long, tall, drink of water. Which was true… except he was also involved with the guy’s brother -- his twin brother -- who just happened to turn into a Shire horse.
Completely normal, right?
Things definitely hadn’t been normal since he’d accepted the job to go out to Horsfall Ranch and build a safety program for them. He’d finished the safety program, and received a nice cheque in return, but he’d also managed to fall in love with the two owners of the ranch, Bayard and Marshall Stoddard.
Just saying their names was enough to have him in shivers.
His employees wouldn’t even know about the change in his single status, except for the fact that Marsh had once come into the office, and it had apparently been very clear that Oliver and him had something going on. The truth was they hadn’t been involved at the time, but the connection had certainly been there.
Who fell in love with two men? Apparently he did, but it had taken all three of them to realize there was nothing wrong with it.
He wouldn’t change anything about his relationship with the men. Well, except for the fact that he still needed to hide the fact that he was with both of them. Society kind of frowned on that. He didn’t even want to think about what would happen if some of his more conservative clients found out.
Speaking of clients… here he was, with a cancelled audit and a full day ahead of him. Picking up his phone, he quickly dialled a very familiar number, listening to the faint ringing on the other end.
“Horsfall Ranch.” The voice was deep, reverberating through the phone line.
Oliver let out a little moan.
“That you, baby?” If possible, the voice just got deeper.
He laughed. “What if it had been someone else?”
“Want to hear it again in, oh, about three hours? Give or take.”
“What happened?”
“Client cancelled.”
“But you’re already out there, aren’t you?”
“Hey, it happens. I’m turning around now, though, so I decided to play hooky for the rest of the day.”
“Well, that’s just about perfect. I think I can convince my boss to let me have the day off too.”
“And Bay?” Not that he didn’t mind doing things with just one or the other, but it had been a few days at least since their last double date. Okay, so he was a bit of a manwhore who wanted to be fucked by both his men. Sue him.
“I’ll see what I can do, baby. Drive safe.”
“I will. See you soon.”
